Our Expert Guide will take you on this horseback riding experience through the gorgeous scenery of Concón.
We will set off from Posada, across the Mantagua Wetlands, and into a pine forest (the red forest) where we will weave in and out of the trees in the Kingdom of Tucúqueres. From here, we will continue along the dunes just like Mary Graham (1822) and Charles Darwin did on August 14, 1834, when they traveled alongside artist Conrad Martens and faithful guide, "huaso González".
We will then heads towards a small lagoon where will have the chance to see many native birds on our way to Ritoque Beach, one of the longest beaches in the fifth region of Chile, and full of stories and magical phenomena such as Fata Morgana. Fata Morgana is a phenomena said to occur on Ritoque Beach, dating back to the times of Benjamín Vicuña Mackenna in 1830 and continuing today, where it is believed that a mirage appears on the beach at certain times of the year.
We finish our adventure returning along the wetlands, passing by different natural viewpoints, and enjoying the wonderful world of flora and fauna as we ride back to Posada.
